What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol and belongs to a family of molecules called cannabinoids. Cannabinoids fall into two categories. Endocannabinoids, which are produced by our own bodies and Phytocannibinoids, which are produced in plants. CBD is a phytocannabinoid found in the cannabis sativa plant.
What are the effects of CBD?
CBD is able to supplement the body’s endocannabinoid system and help keep the body in homeostasis, or balance. People use it to fight pain and inflammation and also to relax and de-stress. Some find it simply improves their overall energy and mood, however CBD does NOT produce a “high” or any state of impairment.

Why CBD for Skin?

Like taking CBD internally, external use promotes healthy homeostasis and so helps with inflammation and skin ailments.
