We promise that this cocktail will put some color in your glass and on your cheeks.
2 teaspoons pink himalayan salt
1½ teaspoons diaspora co. sannam ground chillies
1 cups fresh grapefruit juice
¾ cups tequila
¼ cup pomegranate juice
2½ tablespoons fresh lime juice
½ teaspoon rose water
4 droppers of cordial organics ginger cbd bitters
1 bottle (or more) ginger beer
grapefruit wedges (for serving)
Combine salt and sannam ground chillies in a small bowl. Moisten half of each rim of 4 rocks glasses and dip into chile salt. Set glasses aside.
Combine grapefruit juice, tequila, pomegranate juice, lime juice, rose water, and ginger bitters in a pitcher or better yet a mason jar. Add ½ cup ice and shake until ice is melted and cocktail is very cold. Fill prepared glasses with ice and divide cocktail among glasses. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with grapefruit wedges.
MAKE AHEAD – Grapefruit mixture can be made 8 hours ahead. Stir in ice, then cover and chill.
